I am sailing for the 6th time on RCCL Grandeur of the Seas in April. This will be my 27th  cruise. We always purchase RCCL shore excursions in the Carribbean, but this time we will be stopping in Charleston, SC and Orlando, FL. I was thinking of looking for a tour company for those ports that isnot affiliated with RCCL. In Charleston, I am thinking of a walking or riding tour that will give us a good historical overview, In Orlando, since we have been to the space center, I am looking for something different, but not Disney, etc. What are the pros and cons of using independent tours in US locations. If you have had a c=good experience or a bad one, I'd like to hear it. Thanks
