mikeap Posted February 10, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2020 Hello... Not a first-time cruiser by any means, but have run into a bit of an issue I'm trying to figure out. We will be sailing on the Bliss to Alaska, and when we return, we would like to spend a few hours in downtown Seattle but can't figure out what to do with our luggage. I'm sure we will be off the ship by 10 or 11 and our flight is not until 5:30. We would prefer to not have to rent a car and were planning on getting a cab or transfer service to the airport closer to out departure time. Anyone have a solution? Isabella Benjamin Posted February 10, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 10, 2020 In Seattle we were able to sign up to transfer all of our luggage to the airport and put it in the hall the night before, if that works for you. Then you just have to deal with your carryon's until you get to your home airport.
mikeap Posted February 10, 2020 Author #3 Share Posted February 10, 2020 Thanks... I asked the lady on the phone from NCL, and she wasn't sure that was possible. I'm sure that can't be the first time she had that question. Did you book your flights through the cruise line?
coastcat Posted February 10, 2020 #4 Share Posted February 10, 2020 (edited) Seattle Port Valet program If you're flying domestically on one of the 7 participating airlines (American, Alaska, Delta, Horizon, Jet Blue, Southwest, and United), the Port of Seattle's Port Valet program will take care of your luggage (transport it to the airport and check it through to your airline - for free!). The program is run by the Port of Seattle, not NCL, and I received a flyer for it while on Bliss along with the other disembarkation info. Rare www3traveler Posted February 10, 2020 #5 Share Posted February 10, 2020 According to the Port of Seattle, they have luggage storage at Pier 66. Check their website for more information.
mikeap Posted February 11, 2020 Author #6 Share Posted February 11, 2020 Thanks to all of you. I knew there had to be a simple answer. We will probably use a combination of both!
