Future Cruise CREDITS are not refundable. Princess gave these as compensation for changing your cruise. Amount varies with the circumstances of the awarding of the credit.

Future Cruise DEPOSITS are refundable. You buy these while on a cruise $100 each.

The confusion arises because Princess and CC posters use the terms interchangeably.

It's important in this situation to understand the difference.

Oops, correct. I meant to say Future Cruise Deposit. Knew better.

What's sad is they're only giving you one year to sail again with your Future Cruise Credit.  For the people on the Diamond Princess they only have to book by February 2021

It's a little frustrating... we have 5 cruises booked between now and February. We have been trying to squeeze another cruise in so as not to lose the credit. We were just about to go back on the Grand Princess (which we just did in January) but now it's  having issues... running out of time/options.

It was an expensive inconvenience... unexpected airfare from Perth to Sydney, 2 hotel nights,  transportation to airport, etc. and back to the USA. We should at least be given the option to BOOK by Feb...

You can apply the credit to any cruise that has not yet been paid in full.

I assume you have not paid for all five cruises so far.
