whoshwhosh Posted February 17, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2020 Planning a trip to Patagonia in Feb. 2021 wondering when Aerolineas Argentinas flights will be available to book. Right now they just show thru Dec. 2020 Thanks for a response
Rare Gardyloo Posted February 17, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 17, 2020 Typically 330 days, but I'd caution against buying as soon as they're available. Quite often the first prices offered are quite expensive, and airfare falls later in the booking "window," as the airlines have a better read on how sales are going. (Then they climb shortly before the flight date.) There's next to no risk that flights will sell out, but there IS a big risk that schedule changes in the meantime can disrupt your plans. I'd monitor fares when they appear and be a little patient. When you do buy, however, don't look back.
Zach1213 Posted February 17, 2020 #3 Share Posted February 17, 2020 Spot on with Gardyloo's recommendation - seriously, there's almost no reason to book right when they open. Prices will likely drop later once they figure out the demand, and schedules are more likely to change.
fbgd Posted February 17, 2020 #4 Share Posted February 17, 2020 Given this is AR we are talking about they're probably doing you a favour by not letting you book flights with them 😄
