Yes.

 

If your are platinum or paid for Faster to the Fun, you can go to your stateroom as soon as you board.  Your cabin steward will place the sail and sign card in your mailbox.

 

If you have to wait until 1:30 to go to your room, you can use your boarding pass if you need to charge drinks to your account.

The change makes the process faster. No more standing in line to be checked in and cards handed out. You print your boarding pass and use it until you go to your room @ 1:30pm. Cards will be in envelope at your door. You can use your boarding pass to get drinks if you bought cheers before boarding.

Boarding Pass can be used for drinks, not just Cheers.
