Can I use Corona Cancellation FCC on existing reservation?

We have two cruises in the next 2 months, subject to these new cancellation rules. I think from reading the email that we can use the FCC on any future cruise, but does anyone know for sure they can apply it to an EXISTING future reservation, or only a new one?

Email fine print:

"After you have booked your cruise, please use the link below to provide us with the new booking information so we an process your FCC"

Your question may have gotten lost in the corona shuffle.  I am not 100% certain but I believe it can be used only for a new booking.

I would ask Carnival - or maybe someone else who knows for sure will respond.
