Family of Five - Two Rooms

Because of unavailability of suites and Carnival's age policy, my wife and I will "officially" be in separate rooms (right next to each other). Will anyone give me any grief if I actually sleep with my wife after my 17, 14, and 10 year-old hit the hay?

Nope! Go to the purser's deck after you board and get another key made up. Let the kids sleep in one cabin and you and your wife in the other.

We booked our room (not a guarantee) and were able to put hubby & me in one room and the girls in the room right next to ours. They are 13, 14 & 18. No problem at all.

We do this all the time, Same size family, but make sure you get an extra key, last time I forgot and had a heck of a time getting into hubbys cabin.
