How does price guarantee policy work?

Looks like Nov and Dec cruises prices have come down. How does Oceania handle price guarantee?

If the cabin category still has openings, you can rebook up to the cruise date at the available lower cabin fare. Note however, that your O Life perks will be adjusted to the ones available when you make the new booking.

Unless, it's a high demand cruise where the prices almost always go up, this can be a nice piece of change back to you. But, if you booked onboard (which most often gets you the guarantee), remember that you already have a lower price, which can easily still be better than a rebook. Note too, that your TA commission may change as well. So, do compare the entire bottom lines!
