Celebrity Gift Cards

After 90 days I received most of my refund for a cruise that Celebrity cancelled in March.  I put in a request for 100% refund the day Celebrity cancelled the cruise.

 

I am missing the refund of the Celebrity gift cards that I used towards payment of the cruise.  Has anyone had money put back on the gift cards or receive reimbursement for the amount

of their gift cards?  I had a three way conversation with my Big Box TA and Celebrity rep today.  They confirmed that I am due the $.  The Celebrity specialist told me to call back next week to check the status of transaction.

As I understand you should receive the gift cards back, 90 days is too long, my refund only took 4 weeks.

Think of a plan B to get your money back as soon as possible.

Happy to report that after 123 days I received the balance due me.  

I would seriously reconsider using gift cards in the future,
