St Thomas - From the pier to Coral World

It's about a 15-20 minute cab ride over some very tall hills. I doubt you could walk there and back in the time that your ship is in port. I can't remember how much we paid, but I'd guess it was $8.00 - $10.00 per person each way.

Coral World is at Coki Beach, where you can swim, snorkel or scuba dive. Makes it a great location when everyone has different ideas of how to spend the day in port.

I'm from NYC and would have to say it's a further walk than from Times Square to Chinatown. Plus that walk is flat, this one probably puts you at about 1000 feet above sea level (that's a guess).

The ride is about 20 - 25 minutes - depending on traffic - no way you can walk it.

Coki Beach and Coral World are wonderful - we went back there for the first time last year since the hurricanes wiped out the observatory several years ago and it had to be rebuilt.

Do plan on spending several hours there.
