Petoonya Posted July 16, 2020 #1 Share Posted July 16, 2020 I've heard from a few vendors that while they have snorkel equipment, from now on it's wiser to bring your own snorkel stuff due to COVID. We always bring our own not just for sanitary reasons but always good to have a mask that fits right and fins that are comfortable. Yeah it takes up room but not as bad as one might think cramming other stuff inside mask and fins.
delaware32 Posted July 16, 2020 #2 Share Posted July 16, 2020 That's true . We usually bring our own gear as well . Travel fins do the job and are easier to pack as they take up less space .

Had a hard time keeping up with husband. This time going back to the usual ones. Travel fins sure are a breeze to pack though and with gentle waters they are perfect. delaware32 Posted July 17, 2020 #4 Share Posted July 17, 2020 Might be that I've only used them in the Caribbean .

If you're not doing any deep water snorkeling the shorties should be just fine. If you do deep water in Tahiti there's often more of a current and the long ones will do best.
