We know our guests will enjoy this ship and the new features it will bring to Mobile.Your reservation will be automatically moved to Carnival Sensation. We are in the process of changing your ship assignment and here’s what you need to know: Our team will be doing all the work so there is no need to call us. Your stateroom assignment will be comparable to what you are currently holding. We expect the work to be completed by August 23, 2020, at which time you will receive an email confirmation with your stateroom number. All pre-purchased items such as Carnival Vacation Protection, gratuities, Carnival shore excursions (including Faster to the Fun), beverage and Wi-Fi packages, and Fun Shop items will automatically transfer with you to Carnival Sensation. Rare Tapi Posted July 23, 2020 #2 Share Posted July 23, 2020 I’m relieved to see that Fantasy is being replaced with the Sensation since Mobile is my closest port or embarkation. I was concerned that Mobile would be one of Covid’s casualties. Pre-Covid, I was hopeful that mobile would get bigger ships, longer itineraries, or other cruise lines. At this point in time, I’m just thrilled that they are not losing service!
tidecat Posted July 24, 2020 #3 Share Posted July 24, 2020 Hopefully Carnival can market enough along the I-65 corridor to get people who won't fly to drive to a cruise in Mobile.
