PattyMichael Posted February 9, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2006 We are taking a Europe cruise. Are there any limits on how many bags and the wieght you can take? My hubby travels to Spain often and has never had a problem taking a very large bag on rollers and a overstuffed grament bag (both checked) and a laptop carry on. Any info will help. cherylandtk Posted February 10, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 10, 2006 There are no cruise line limits, but most airlines limit the number and size of bags, as well as the weight. You need to check with your airline.
Globaliser Posted February 11, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 11, 2006 Typically, the airline free baggage allowance is 2 bags, each weighing no more than 32 kg or (increasingly) 23 kg.

Globaliser Posted February 11, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 11, 2006 http://www.thetravelinsider.info/travelaccessories/airlinecheckedluggageallowances.htmFor completeness, one should point out that the table only lists US airlines. Other airlines may well have more generous baggage allowances - at least for the time being.
