Snorkling

We plan to play the ports by ear, and spend a lot of time at the beach. Would it be a good idea to bring my own goggles and snorkel? Are there people on the beach that you can rent them from, or give you ideas where to swim? I have a 5 yr old and I think she would enjoy putting on some goggles and looking at fish, but nothing really involved. Thanks in advance!

Go to the ports of call board and read up on each of your stops and ask questions. That's the best place for information. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=-1&f=5
