Adam Coulter Posted September 9, 2020 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2020 Hi everyone - are you on this first cruise right now? We would absolutely love to see your pix and hear your stories. We are following Costa's return to cruising with great interest and we wrote this yesterday: https://www.cruisecritic.co.uk/news/5576/ But we would love to hear it in YOUR words. Please do respond to this thread Thank you Adam
greg2014 Posted September 13, 2020 #2 Share Posted September 13, 2020 Could anybody say sth about first cruise on Deliziosa after locdown ? Looking on YT I am trying to find how many passangers were on the ship. On some clips it is looking quite empty - empty balconies, empty venues inside, empty outdoor areas. During "normal" cruise there were always many clips/movies/reviews - now it is possible only to see few official clips showing nothing. I have also question how going on shore is organized. Is it possible on your own or only in organized tours. Are pools working as usual ? Any news and details are appreciated.
ighten Posted September 15, 2020 #3 Share Posted September 15, 2020 (edited) Trips are the ships only and you must not leave that bubble at anytime during the tours.. You can pay individually or buy a package - rather like MSCs method (reports are they are well priced compared to normal) You can get lots morel info and some updates if you log into the .it site for Costa as its the only site they actually sell these from. Just use Edge or Chrome or a browser that auto translates https://www.costacrociere.it/nuovi-itinerari-settembre-2020.html Edited September 15, 2020 by ighten

I'm hoping to visit a few of those places in cruises next year ( Matera, when we stop in Bari with MSC Opera) and Catania/Syracuse before our Seashore cruise in October. They look amazing and goes to show how much Italy has to offer beyond the usual big cities and famous sites. You both look so happy in the video.
