karlita_smith Posted February 10, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2006 Hi there. I'm interested in hearing about the experiences people had while visiting St. John's, Newfoundland port of call. I would particularly like to hear points of view on the service experience you encountered and your general opinion of the attitudes of Newfoundlanders. Thank you, Karla (An interested Newfie)
trixiee Posted February 12, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2006 HI! I visited St. John's last year on a business trip. Had the opportunity to dine downtown, do a bit of shopping, tour Signal Hill and walk around the little lake (I can't remember the name), ran down the paths (was training for a Marathon)... The service, the people the ambiance were first rate! I don't remember ever being in a friendlier, safer city! What a class act! I will return one day - likely as a Cruise Ship Passenger!
