Obstructed Balconies

Atlantic Canada

We are sailing on the Sky Princess and going to book a cabin on Deck 8 which are obstructed balconies.  Does anyone know a site that shows pictures of what the balcony obstruction looks like.  There use to be a site that did that for all Princess ships but that site no longer seems to work.  Any help would be appreciated.

Here is a link to give you an idea, but it isn't for the Sky.  Page down for some pictures.

My advice is to go for the cabins midship, there is no obstruction unless you look down, no lifeboats but they are over Alfredo's and the Bistro.  For example:

405--407--409--411--415--417--421--425  406--408--410--412--414--416--420--424

I'm booked in Sky E408 for Fall 2021 Transatlantic, you will notice on deck plans some of these balconies are angled somewhat bigger.  Happy searching!

Not sure about Royal / Regal / Sky, but this is the view of my obstructed balcony cabin (Deck 8, forward, starboard side) on Majestic.

Yes, just like this on Sky. And we had one over Alfredos mid ship that got very noisy one night when there was a “spirited “ birthday party lasting until 11:00. Other nights were fine.

Good point!  I'm over the Bistro for my Sky cruise, hopefully it will be o.k.!  I had one over Crooners on Royal and it was never an issue.  I've heard others say they would not book a cabin over Crooners.

I usually book cabins between passenger decks.  However, sailing inside cabins most of the time, these are a chance for me to get a balcony.
