FORMAL NIGHT MENUS

The only time we had a different menu was for specialty nights - Christmas Eve, Christmas night, NYE - not sure if there are others. It was the same menu over the whole ship and you had to make a booking for the restaurants (all of them) a day or so before. The communications around this wasn't very clear with one set of info saying only large groups needed to make a pre=booking but then in another set (correct as it turns out) - it was everyone had to book.

My experience (10) is that the menu doesn't change, just the dress code.  What we always do is to go to La Dame for one of the formal nights.  Granted there is a surcharge but the atmosphere is a little more luxe.  Its just a thing. Last couple times out the food at La Dame wasn't that much better, than the Restaurant, the wine a little better and the service more attentive and personalized.  Its a little better fit if you are wearing a tux.
