Canadians can book with USA agents also

Thanks.

I keep getting geo-blocked when I try and find the US/Canadian T&Cs, but I did find this statement for Oceania on a Canadian agents website

Terms and Conditions 2022 Voyages Feature: Offers and fares are subject to change on 4/1/21. All fares are per person in U.S. dollars, valid for residents of United States and Canada, based on double occupancy (unless otherwise noted), for new bookings only and may be withdrawn at any time.

So I don' think it is an issue with Australian legal, as we are able to book other cruise lines via foreign agents. I think it is an Oceania policy and I am sure I had read it discussed here in the past that you risk being denied boarding if you breach the policy above.

I would be interested if the above wording is on the Oceania website in the US if you look under Legal/Terms and Conditions/Cruise Fares

Yes it  was discussed here before

I know my friend in OZ  could not book outside of her Country

I think  now that Oceania have a office  in Australia  they want you to book through them

Sometimes you get more perks  than we do 😉

The Government wants  to protect Australian  jobs

Plus you have more rights  when something goes pear shaped  as do UK pax

I remember many years ago  before  WWW  we had to book cruises via a wholesaler

People could not book direct with the cruise line  nor a US  travel agency

But now Canadians are allowed to book in the USA

With the internet  it is so much easier for people to shop around
