Missed this question, it seems.  I have used cruiseline offerings in the past.   I ended up booking Mendenhall Glacier + Mount Roberts Tramway through NCL.  Doing whale watch in Icy Strait Point (combined with ZipRider).

 

There should be several offerings of Mendenhall + whale watch.  Allen Marine has been a name I have seen for many years.  
 

Hope you have found some great ideas for fun.
