New Maps for Lindblad Itineraries???

Take a look at an itinerary on the updated Lindblad website.  New map styles for each itinerary. 

 

A rough outline of the area, a white line showing the ship’s route, and numbers where stops are.  No names of islands, seas cities countries!

 

New, uncluttered, modern, sexy, state of the art, wonderful graphic expression, USELESS AS A MAP!

 

Lindblad cruisers want to see and understand where they might go.  Clear maps with appropriate detail of the surroundings.  What islands might you see or be near?  What other cities might you see or be near?  What mountains, parks, rivers, sights of interest might be near the ports?

 

They weren’t broken and Lindblad fixed them!

I have to agree with you on those maps.  I was fantasizing about future cruises and also found them very confusing.  I like the labelled map and the complete itinerary all on one page.  Much easier to follow along.

I just went on Lindblad’s website and they have changed the maps from "uncluttered, modern, sexy, state of the art, wonderful graphic expression" ones back to “normal” and useful cruise itinerary maps.
