mosquitoes around Orlando in november?

Hello,

 

I am sensitive to mosquitoes, but we love the outdoors!  We will be in Orlando in mid-November.  We are looking for parks for hiking or recreational walking.  Have done some research and are interested in Lake Underhill, Wewika Springs, Eagles Roost and Magnolia parks.  

 

Is there any mosquito problem in November and any opinions on the above parks?

 

We also researched Central Florida Zoo and Wild Florida Drive Thru Safari Park,

There should be minimal (if any) problem with mosquitoes in November.

 

Another good park to check out is Blue Spring (no “s”) State Park in nearby Orange City.

jjduck,  worked in Orlando and lived in Deltona, right next to Orange City and never had a mosquito problem. Blue Spring Park is a hidden gem in central Florida. Have you looked at the activities you can do there?

I'm extremely allergic to mosquitos and I've had bad luck with mosquitos during all seasons in Fl and surrounding areas. Just bring some repellant just in case. I always think I'm not going to get bit this time and I get bit and I'm miserable. My bites swell up to the size of a half dollar or bigger and are super painful and itchy and last for weeks then leave scarring. But I still love tropical areas.
