Santa Barbara Tender dock and Stearns Wharf

For those of you who have done a Cali Coastal run...with a stop in Santa Barbara.  I know this is a tender port, but exactly where to the tenders load/unload??  is it Stearns Wharf? or the small boat harbor just to the west(?) of the Wharf.  AND, if it's the small harbor....how far is the actual walk to the wharf?  

My traveling companion (mother) will most likely either be using a walker or actually be in a wheel chair at the time, and we're trying to plan accordingly.  Her walking distances are very limited right now due to an ongoing issue with her lower spine.
