Barring any major problem. He is canadian. Thanks will be interesting to see how everything goes for him. On the ship and I hope he covers returning to Canada afterward. Just watched the video and he said at least for now if people test positive on board the cruise line is paying for hotel, air changes etc. Fortunately my group plan covers Covid and also covers us on our cruise.
MStarzky Posted July 21, 2021 #154 Share Posted July 21, 2021 Yeah, I'm just getting the manulife travel insurance as I fall under the guidelines that states that MSC will provide the covid insurance free of charge.

edmontoncruiser1218 Posted July 23, 2021 #156 Share Posted July 23, 2021 http://We have decided not to cruise with unvaccinated passengers. If we test positive at the end of the cruise we can’t go home. So what happens? Are we kept on the ship locked up in our cabin? Pay for 2 weeks locked up in a hotel room? Nobody seems to know. I hope all goes well on the cruise ships but it would ruin my vacation thinking about it. Also if there is a covid outbreak on board, and let’s face it it’s going to happen, is everyone confined to their cabin? Too many what ifs for me.
CruisingCanucksTwo Posted July 25, 2021 #157 Share Posted July 25, 2021 A new wrinkle to the mixed vaccine from royal Caribbean. They are only accepting mixed Pfizer and Moderna if the second shot was between 28 and 42 days after the first. RCL and NCL really making it tough on Canadians and I hope we all remember that in the future when deciding where to spend our travel $$$.

So frustrating what you are dealing with. Whats weird is that with Royal Caribbean if you got AZ and Pfizer or Moderna it can be 4-12 weeks IF you are leaving outside of the US. I did a bit of Saturday night random online searching to find cruises out of Barbadoes, Puerto Rico, and Bahamas...
