new to Viking beverage package question....

Hello.   We are new to Viking and are debating about the beverage package. We are fine with house wine for dinner and lunch and do not drink much but we are wondering about soda.  Is it readily available?  Should we purchase the drink package although we are mostly soda drinkers?

 We’re soda drinkers too. I would think the beverage package is too expensive. I usually take a can or two of soda when I leave the World Cafe. All cabins have refrigerators, and the cheapest cabins (V2 and V1) fill it once with soda. All DV and higher cabins have soda refilled daily free.
