lmbecker Posted July 15, 2021 #1 Share Posted July 15, 2021 Last weekend, while in my Princess account, I noticed the snorkeling excursion I booked in May was suddenly gone! No email had been sent, no refund to date. I called Princess and (after a 45 minute wait to get a representative to speak with), there was no particular reason for the cancellation. But, I do know others had signed up for the two excursion time options, and if you are one of those people, search online for Ketchikan + snorkeling and you will find the exact business and times offered (they will pick up at the port) and sign up directly to do this interesting activity. Never received an email or refund stating the excursion was cancelled. After the 45 minute wait for a Princess representative to answer my call, their was no clarity why the excursion was cancelled. Sprocket Posted July 18, 2021 #3 Share Posted July 18, 2021 They cancelled our cruise in error thank goodness I caught it right away, we lost our preferred time for one of our excursions, and they shortened our rail trip and apparently credited my credit card. No notification given for any of those, I check every day multiple times for any other changes. COVID protocols including possible distancing requirements, staffing issues, low interest could all play a part I suppose many things still evolving. Hope you find a replacement.
