Mask Mandate Amber Cove?

According to Carnival mask are required at all times even outside unless swimming.  We did an excursion last year that was a utv tour and the falls.  This was one of the highlights of my 14 cruises. Would love to do it again during our August 1st horizon cruise. The idea of having to wear a mask in the utv or the long hike up the falls would zap the fun out of it. Does anybody have some more insight on the mask policy?

Hopefully someone can post an update on the DR and mask.

While I will wear one on the ride to and from the port, I would like it off when I sit on my beach chair on the Amber Cove all inclusive "Beach Getaway Excursion".

I don't understand why there would be a mask mandate at Amber Cove. Amber Cove is in the DR and I have been to the DR 4 times since Covid began and I have not had to wear a mask anywhere except for walking into restaurants etc.. I never wore it once on any of the beaches
