KeepCalmBearOn Posted August 14, 2021 #2 Share Posted August 14, 2021 There is a company called "Shuttle from San Diego to LAX" who will also do San Perdo WCC. Half Moon Limo and Five Star Tours are two other options. If the options are all too expensive, do a one way Enterprise or Hertz Rental, as long as it isn't a Sunday (they are both closed). Sunburg1 Posted August 14, 2021 #3 Share Posted August 14, 2021 Take the train, very smooth and relaxing. Then use Lyft/Uber or a shuttle to the ship.

KeepCalmBearOn Posted August 16, 2021 #5 Share Posted August 16, 2021 Train is a very, very bad idea. It isn't reliable, is slow and goes no where near the port.
kiwimum Posted September 17, 2021 #6 Share Posted September 17, 2021 We always use one way rental cars from San Diego to San Pedro. Enterprise and Hertz both have locations on 6th street. Cost is usually between $60 and $150 for a one way rental. Another option is rental car to Long Beach Airport and Uber to the Ship. Only drawback is Uber has increased substantially in the last year. KeepCalmBearOn Posted September 18, 2021 #7 Share Posted September 18, 2021 As an example of the train's unreliability, train service between South Orange County and San Diego County (Laguna Niguel to Oceanside) is currently suspended and there are no work-arounds. The tracks will be closed until at least Oct 3, 2021 due to instability in the bluffs in South Orange County that threatens the tracks.
