Doclori Posted August 16, 2021 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2021 If Argentina still isn't allowing tourists to enter the country, will the Antarctica itineraries be re-routed through Chile, or canceled?
amunhbuu Posted August 16, 2021 #2 Share Posted August 16, 2021 I am not sure anyone really knows right now. Given the rating of Portugal and Barbados' entry requirements, it is hard to see how that cruise will happen in its current form with the Barbados celebration.
Katosmama Posted August 16, 2021 #3 Share Posted August 16, 2021 When I looked at the entry requirements for Argentina via the embassy website it seemed to indicate that there was an exemption if Argentina was used as a stopover and you stayed less than 24 hours? Perhaps Atlas is banking on that with their charter flight, that you will only be in Argentina a few hours as they take you directly from the airport to the ship.

I think that may be a saving grace given the bubble that Atlas should be able to create.
