MNgardens Posted August 29, 2021 #2 Share Posted August 29, 2021 The list of tender ports is buried in the Accessibility link at the bottom of the home page. Here is the link which is organized by region: https://www.windstarcruises.com/accessibility/

Oldsweets Posted August 30, 2021 #4 Share Posted August 30, 2021 Can you give us a sense of how your trip was from masks to social distancing and the process of port visits move smoothly all week
laurelguy Posted August 31, 2021 #5 Share Posted August 31, 2021 Oldsweets...are you on the 7 night trip on the Star? Ours was wonderful early in August. 80 of us out of 148. Test before boarding...3 days in...and before departure. Well done. Everyone was respectful of masks, etc. Crew is stretched a bit thin but doing a great job. Food and drink good and plentiful. Christy the Cruise Director/Excursions did a great job in her talks the night before each new stop. Captain funny and a pro. Milos was first day in port, Turkey having been canceled. One of our favorite islands! Enjoy your trip!
danapoint1 Posted September 7, 2021 #6 Share Posted September 7, 2021 We were on the 8/21 Greece cruise. 50 customers onboard, half on a Tauck tour. Service by every member of the staff was beyond excellent. Tender at every port. The swim deck was open in at least 3 ports. While the stop in Turkey was missed, it was still great to get back to cruising. Masks were generally only worn while waking around indoors. Once you sat down for port breifing (and ordered drink) masks off, and worn only when entering restaurant. In Veranda at lunch, it is buffet, but they serve you everything and you wear a mask as you walk around buffet stations. I didn't find any of it obtrusive. Masks also worn on tenders, and generally on shore when you enter a shop, but not walking around unless you want too wear one. Covid test before boarding (nerve racking 10 minute wait) and on day 2 (Greek govt required). Then again if you order it either Thursday or Friday. You can get Antigen or PCR test, and they have all the required lab equipment onboard (PCR test results in around 5 hours).
