letscutitout Posted August 28, 2021 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2021 Hi~ Considering this for myself. If you have enjoyed it on Allure, please tell me more about it. The description under spa services doesn't tell me much. What is the experience like? Thank you!!
Steeler Nation At Sea Posted August 28, 2021 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2021 There are four heated loungers, two steam rooms, a dry sauna and two rain showers in this area. It is co-ed and swim suits must be worn. It's in a small space with no outside views. It kills a couple of hours on sea days, but, is nothing like the NCL thermal spas. Surfguyxxx Posted August 29, 2021 #3 Share Posted August 29, 2021 I was not impressed what-so-ever! Granted there were only a few people there but it just didn't feel comfortable in there at all; not for that price anyways. Liked the Freedom class ships with seperate men's and women's steam and sauna rooms much better as they are a lot roomier than the 35sq ft or 42 sq meters. How many people can be in there at one time?
CntPAcruiser Posted August 31, 2021 #7 Share Posted August 31, 2021 (edited) You can only fit a few people in the sauna and steam room. The aromatherapy room (basically another steam room) is a bit larger. But if you have more than eight or so people in the thermal suite area, it can get noisy if people are chatty. When we were cruising, there were no limits on how many people could be in there, but that may have changed with social distancing protocols, if they will be open and available at all.
