Many of the shops, museums, and other highlights never opened at all for the 2021 season.  Many others were closed when we sailed this week.  I expect that many more, perhaps most, will call it a day before October.  The weather is getting colder by the day, and clouds are prevalent.  You may not be able to enjoy your cruise as much as you might if you were to sail in summer or early autumn.

Some will, but many were already closed this week, and several never opened at all for the 2021 season.

Some will thoroughly enjoy the cruise even if they never get off the ship.  It's the same thing as with Amtrak.  It's about the journey, not the destination.

Can’t argue with that.  BUT, you sure need to know what you’re getting into. It’s not going to be rainbows and unicorns.
