Question re travel insurance

They are all good companies. Access America will only insure certain airlines and travel groups. They only cover America based airlines for bankruptcy protection, so we rarely use them when flying to Europe. Travelguard does not have as many limitations, but you need to read the small print - for example they will not cover a missed flight on Alitalia, if it is due to a worker's strike. A great way to compare is to use the web site http://www.insuremytrip.com You plug in your age and the price of the trip and it will give you the cost and the difference in coverage from lots of different companies.
