scarecrowbirdie Posted February 17, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2006 So besides betting drinks at the bar, does the Miracle have servers that just walk around the ship taking orders?
Rare Timmys_mom Posted February 17, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 17, 2006 On decks 9 (Lido) and above they are like ants at a picnic. On other decks you have to go to a lounge/bar area.

I had to keep getting dressed and running down two flights of stairs every time my DOTD ran out.
gr81 Posted February 17, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 17, 2006 In my experience, they dont have enough in the main dining room. I learned to take a drink in with me and still order one when they came around because it could take a while. It seemed like 1 girl was it for our half the dining room last cruise. Never had a problem finding a server on Lido, or around the theatre just before shows start.

I would agree with the dining room observation - had the same problem on our HAL cruise although the one guy that was taking drink orders in our half of the dining room really hustled. On the Lido and in the showroom, they're very conspicuous.
big_duck Posted February 18, 2006 #7 Share Posted February 18, 2006 Drink service is also available in the Casino. If they could figure a way to do it Casino's would have you relieving yourself at the table/Slot machine. Casino rule #1 never let the suckers stop betting. If the Drinks were free (um well you give the money to the machine not the server) like in Vegas, they wouldnt get me out the casino. This fool and his money would be departing quicker:eek:

sallyb Posted February 18, 2006 #10 Share Posted February 18, 2006 Never had a problem getting drinks in the dining room or the casino on Miracle. Sorry I can't remember the server name in the dining room, because I always had a bottle of wine, but I will never forget Donna in the casino, she is the best! She always seemed to be close by when I needed her!:p Another favorite place was Lido Aft. I fell in love with Junnel and Emmanuel from the Phillipines! They were so sweet. :)

Then I may save some money being discouraged waiting for a machine.;)
