ElvisandTracey Posted February 17, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2006 Hi all: Decision time, so I am taking a poll: Taking DH and 2 DS's on Xmas cruise this year, am choosing between a D1 on the Radience 8 night Caribbean, or GS on Vision 7 night Mexico. Have done both routes on other ships, so the ports are not really an issue. Vision is a little cheaper, even though it's a GS, and I live in LA so would not need to fly. Double C & A points on a suite and concierge service always a plus!! But the Radience is the Radience, plus it's one more night and it's the caribbean. But it is more expensive and would need air for 4 to Florida, another added expense. Any thoughts??
Cape Cruiser 2007 Posted February 17, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 17, 2006 How about both?? Go cheaper-and use the difference as spending money.

Mildred Posted February 17, 2006 #4 Share Posted February 17, 2006 There is no Concierge Lounge on the Vision. :(

Air travel during the holidays is soo busy that trying to get there & back would be a pain in the you-know-where. Plus the GS will give you more space for 4 people than the D-1. Vision is an awfully pretty ship, although I wish they had spruced her up a bit more during her recent drydock. The CD on Vision, Keith Williams, is my favorite CD ever, although I don't know how long they stay onboard. He's very low key, not a lot of announcements for bingo & art auctions & the like. Cape Cruiser 2007 Posted February 18, 2006 #6 Share Posted February 18, 2006 Flights at that time of year are tough-I agree with the last post! That is something to keep in mind.
