soda package/sticker offered?

Yes, they have one. It's $5+15% gratuity per day. Although they use the daily rate to calculate the charge for the entire cruise (or remainder of the cruise if you buy late)--as the rate is not meant to allow you to buy a day here and there. Here is more info straight from Celebrity's website: soda sticker program

It's a good buy if you plan to drink more than 2 sodas per day.

It's also really convenient.

We gave both of our kids (aged 9 and 13 at the time) a choice: they could have a soda card or the cash equivilent. (If they took the cash, they had to buy their own soda if they wanted it). My 9-year-old pocketed the cash and drank the free milk most of the cruise, while my 13-year-old took the soda card and drank so much soda that he got it down to about 10-cents per serving. They both chose wisely.

On our recent Infinity cruise the soda card cost was $5 a day plus 15%. They put a sticker on your 'key' card and also give you a Coca Cola insulated cup. You could take the cup to any bar for a refill and they never asked to see the card. In some areas like the hamburger/hot dog stand on the pool deck, they filled the cup from actual coke bottles instead of from the soda wands that they use in the bar areas. If you didn't have the cup with you, as in the dining room, they looked at the card the first night and then never asked to see the card again. It's very convenient if you are a soda drinker. A can of coke costs 1.95 plus tax (2.24) if you do not have the card.

If Infinity gives an insulated mug with the soda plan--is it safe to assume

that Mercury will be doing the same? Could this possibly mean one less thing to pack??

This is probably done fleet-wide. We received the insulated coca-cola mug with our soda sticker while on board Horizon last year.
