Rare PammyMouse Posted October 5, 2021 #1 Share Posted October 5, 2021 Sorry for the long explanation... I have a policy that was for a cruise in January 21, which was cancelled. We also had another cruise for June 21, also cancelled (by us). The credits were then combined for one cruise in June 22, the insurance for the June 21 used for that cruise. The insurance company gave me an effective credit for the January 21 (date transfer option). I'd like to use my insurance credit for the January 21 for a solo cruise in January 22. However my spouse and daughter are on the policy, does this matter? I cannot remove them without proof of cancellation, and all I have is some generic letter from Norwegian saying the cruise is cancelled and our credits would be returned. I'm not asking for money back, just to use the insurance I have already so it isn't completely wasted. Thanks in advance, PM
Jersey42 Posted October 5, 2021 #2 Share Posted October 5, 2021 You probably will be able to do what you want, but there are enough unknowns to know for sure. For example: What insurance company and policy? Is there a time limit on the credit they gave you. The best answer is to contact whoever you bought the policy from, or the insurance company. Let us know how you make out. It would also be good to know the insurance broker (if any) and the insurance company/policy.
