Anyone back from the Elation?

Booked on her in December and am waiting to hear how the first sailing went! What did you love most???? Does anyone know who the Alchemists were? How about who is in the piano bar? Can’t wait to sail again!

We are cruising the Elation on Halloween, it will be our second Carnival cruise.  Actually, we are headed to the Port right now to watch her sail away.  I would be curious to hear from those that recently sailed as well.

WE erect on the Oct. 21-25 cruise and had a really great time! Embarkation and debarkation were super easy and quick. We are platinum but the ladies we met at our hotel that morning were not and they pretty much walked through at the same time as us. The ladies and I had a blast during the sail away as my husband was snoozing on the deck!  We were in a junior suite on the verandah deck forward right above the Red Frog Pub on the lido deck which was so convenient. Food was pretty good and we spent most of the time at the casino bar watching the baseball playoffs and listening to the live music. The only thing we didn’t like about the ship was that it only has one pool! All in all it’s a great ship.

I know this is Carnival Paradise

but I'm looking forward to seeing Elation in the new hull colours!

It dresses up the old girls very well. Next dry dock.

Unfortunately we will be waiting a couple more years for Elation. Sunshine will be the final ship for 2021, she is just about done in Spain. Only 4 ships on the dry dock schedule next year and none of them are Elation. Probably because she just had one in March 2020.
