Beach close to port

Would like to visit a beach for a few hours in Dec. What beach would you recommend near the cruise port where we could rent a couple chairs and would have shade?  Bonus points for any estimate on transportation cost to get there. Cruise ship has an excursion to Sea Aquarium Beach that I am looking at. If anyone on Princess has taken this excursion what was your experience? TIA

We ended up at the 'Wet n Wild Beach Club' which was an amazing beach. It cost $3.50 to get on the beach but I do not know how much it would cost to get there. We were on a 'tour' and we had an hour there.
