chisoxfan Posted November 18, 2021 #26 Share Posted November 18, 2021 Sorry to hear of the changes but this is one of the 'disadvantages' of cruising that has always existed but perhaps has not been a factor prior to Covid. In lieu of our typical Winter Caribbean cruise we booked a Jamaica all inclusive. The big advantage in our mind is the fact that we can cancel a few days before should the situation look unfavorable. We are not Nassau fans either but have gone to the British Colonial Hilton near the port where one of the early Bond movies was filmed. We would do a day pass and swim at their beach but maybe a lunch if you are inclined considering the timing. Once you are locked in to a cruise you can only make the best of things. We're still scheduled to go to Princess Cays. Jamaica and Grand Cayman were dropped from the itinerary and replaced with Costa Maya and Belize back in September. I did not book this cruise until October, so I was not aware of the changes until reading the posts on my roll call.
