Manzanillo - Any experience with Las Hadas resort for day pass?

We're going on a Ruby Princess cruise out of SF that stops in Manzanillo (and Cabo, PV and Mazatlan). One member of our group is thinking about organizing a trip to a resort called Las Hadas outside of Manzanillo. Does anyone have any experience with this place - or alternatives for a Manzanillo area resort.

We went there several years ago on a day pass. We were on a cruise.  We enjoyed it very much.   What we paid to enter was spent on food by the pool. I don't think we used the entire credit.

 

What I remember is the cab as soon as we got off the boat.  The driver quoted a ridiculous fare.  We walked a block to and got a much better fare.  As I recall it was also very much to our advantage to pay cash, pesos, at Las Hadas.   We went there on a CC recommendation.

I haven't been on a cruise excursion to Las Hadas, but stayed there many times over the years. It is a wonderful hotel.

Our experience there was also years ago,  We had left over credit also, we used it at their convenience store and brought cans of Coke back to the ship.
