I think they may have been saying to check the app for the exact dates of the exact theme nights  perhaps when you get closer. The actual theme nights can sometimes be found out in advance by reading reviews or roll calls. I was able to find that out prior to COVID. But, not as much info shared about it since then. Just packed what I wanted in case there was a 70s, white, or 80s party. The exact day wasnt known until I got on the cruise.
