Get Ready, QM2 Transatlantic Impacts!

So I called Cunard today to inquire about the impact of the later arrival time in Southampton on the Transatlantics. According to Cunard Passenger Relations, Cunard is not guaranteeing any flight before 4:00PM out of Heathrow and 4:30 out of Gatwick. For those that have purchased our own flights, they want us to claim for trip interuption through the insurance (PR nightmare!), also they can not guarantee the arrival time as the ship has not completed a TA run yet (again, PR nightmare). I am going to change my flight for the following day as I just don't trust this for now...

Passenger Relations is accepting case by case letters as far as re-imbursment for flight change costs...I am sure once this goes public they will have an overall policy for those with their own flights.
