bellbtm Posted November 30, 2021 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2021 Hello, I am traveling on the Bliss in a couple of weeks with my 2 daughters, 17 and 19 years. Has anyone brought a 17 year old to the adult comedy show? Will they allow her to join us if I am ok with it? Hoping someone has experience with this. Thanks! Travelers56 Posted November 30, 2021 #2 Share Posted November 30, 2021 from what I can recall (and its been awhile since we've cruised!) there is no one checking for ID's or asking age at the door. I would say its more what you are comfortable having your daughter hear. I'm sure it varies by the comedian- but I don't remember anything particularly over-the-top as far as language or topics have fun!

Whether she goes or not is entirely up to you. My daughter went to the adult shows when she was that age without issue.
aero777 Posted November 30, 2021 #4 Share Posted November 30, 2021 On the Bliss right now and went to the adult comedy show on the first night, they absolutely don’t check age. Comedian makes a joke of it “ if you ( expletive) brought your kid, you might want to (expletive ) leave right now” 😂 Have a great cruise!

anmyers72 Posted November 30, 2021 #6 Share Posted November 30, 2021 There is no issue with bringing your child into the "18+" show. The label is there more as a warning to parents that the language and themes may be more adult-oriented than the earlier show. Similar to a "R" rating vs "PG13". Have usually found the content fairly tame imo the couple times I have been. But, as always, take my opinion with a grain of salt.
