Scuba with snorkling

I'm certified and plan to dive (March/Allure). Was wondering if anybody had used an operator that allowed snorklers on the same boat. Would like to take my granddaughter (19) with me when I dive. I dove in Cozumel (with Allison) and she had a guy snorkling while we were down under. He had a great time and saw most the the same things we did.

I think it depends where you are going.  We dove in Cozumel with Roberta's Scuba Shack.  WE were able to get a boat for 4 of us - 2 scuba & 2 snorkeled.  You are kind of limited to shallower dives (40 ft ish) but both groups had a great time.  They even took us to a sandbar for our surface interval where we could see sting rays and play in the water in between dives.

Just got back from Coz. I didn't dive in Coz but dived in Roatan so If you are going there there are a number of places that allow snorklers on the dive boat. The one we used was Sun Divers. Very good experience.
