Chefs Table / SteaK House

When is the Chefs Table night and time assigned ? We have Steak House for the first night at 7:00 PM and in my planner it shows Chefs Table as being the first night at 6:30 PM.I received two different answers from Carnival first was cancel and re-book the second was Chefs table night and time are assigned once we are onboard. Thanks for any help.

When you book CT, it will show up for embarkation day, but could be any night of the cruise. Go to the steakhouse on embarkation day, and they can tell you which night you're actually booked for. In some cases, they can move it around to accommodate other reservations...
