Cabin 7000 on Insignia

Hi everyone!

We're reserving cabin 7000 on Insignia for the Lisbon to Dover trip on June 2. Has anyone stayed in this cabin previously?

We have always been all the way on the back of the ship on our previous cruises and thought being all the way forward might be an interesting change.

Any thoughts on the cabin, and how windy the balcony might be?

Any and all opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Haven't stayed there, but have heard that those forward cabins' balconies can be quite windy.

Pitching movement often exaggerated in forward cabins, and anchor chain & thruster noise has been mentioned as being more pronounced.

This past August, on Regatta into the Baltic, sis-in-law was in a forward cabin, #6004, and said thruster noise/vibration was very evident in the early morning, when entering ports.

We were down in 403l, and never heard it.
