Royal Caribbean increased capacity too fast? Are ports over reacting?

Recommended Posts

Got off on Harmony a couple weeks ago. We were sailing under 60%, but felt really crowded on seadays. They cut a lot of entertainment that should be there.

Royal should NOT have increased capacity on these cruises, especially with Delta and Omicron. They should be sailing with 50% or LESS for the upcoming year. I'll say it bluntly, they got greedy and were over-optimistic when they saw up until Dec there were not many COVID outbreaks, and used the holidays as an opportunity to bolster their earnings. Now we are hearing about outbreaks left and right and putting passengers at risk. Now with the bad PR lots of travelers are losing confidence in cruising.

I will cruise again, but not with this crapshow going on..
