Opening balcony partitions Carnival Miracle

I'm booking two side by side balconies on the miracle and, ideally, would be able to get them to remove the partitions

Does anyone know if this is possible on the Miracle.,.I, ideally, would book two aft facing ones (deck 8 only ones currently available)  or spa balconies on deck 11..... But really the ability to open the balconies is more important than the rooms themselves.

We were on Miracle Deck 6 and had a large group in balcony cabins (including daughter in next cabin).

I was told they do "open" (crew member needs to do this) but none of us had it removed because it kind of limits your privacy. My daughter didn't want the grandkids coming back and forth to our room via balcony (for safety) and the rest of the group didn't want their neighbor walking by unexpected. I did see a photo somewhere looking down the side of ship with balconies open.

We've done this every time. It's a great way to create more space

Do you know if all the balcony partitions are openable, or is there a way to find out if the configuration chosen would work?

Have you ever not been able to do it....

Is the miracle (spirit class I think) the same in this regard as other new ships?

I have no idea if it works this way on all ships because I only have this one experience with opening a balcony partition. We had neighboring cabins on the freedom last month and were looking forward to sharing one large balcony. To open this partition it swung to the side, but not all the way. It allowed us to move from one side to the other but partially blocked one door to the cabin, which wouldn’t allow us to use the balcony door. We immediately asked it to be put back and just talked to each other through the partition all week.

Here's a link that shows exactly which cabins/balconies can be opened to each other for Spirit class ships, Deck 8
