Staff situation on American Queen.

Has the staffing situation improved since last fall’s shortage of staff?  We rebooked our original

 cruse and are now sailing Memphis to NOLA in March. Sadly we are now in an inside cabin because the original promo offer was not available. It will be our first experience with an inside room

We have never been in an inside cabin on a river cruise, but have been on one on an ocean cruise. My tip for not feeling claustrophobic is to leave your TV on with the sound off when you retire for the night. Set it to the channel that shows the captain’s view from the Bridge. It will be like a window, and you can tell when it is getting daylight and the sun is coming up.
